Incubus Adored is Available for Purchase and in Kindle Unlimited

I realized I totally, 100% forgot to post that Incubus Adored was live! How forgetful of me. I know I have a blog, and yet I consistently forget to do anything with it.

Gravidam Series #1

Peirs had accepted his life of servitude to an angel. His keeper asked only for a willing body, and in exchange his needs were met and he was fed and clothed. Peirs might have served the angel forever—it was the only life he knew—but one day Peirs discovered something he had no way to plan for. After two millennia, he was pregnant. Peirs now must summon the courage to escape his master and the unbendable divine law that declared no half-breeds should live, but running into an angelic soldier in the back room of a bar wasn’t part of his plan.

After years of begging to go to the battlefields on Earth, Tabbis, the youngest angel in Heaven, finally got his assignment. Ready for heroics and bloodshed, he was stunned when he found enchanting and seductive Peirs instead. Tabbis was duty bound to kill Peirs, but Peirs’s very existence challenged everything Tabbis thought he knew.

Tabbis needs answers. Peirs wants nothing more than to save his baby and live in peace. Can they band together to help each other? Or will the wrath of Heaven tear them apart?

As a kid, Joseph Appleyard saw things hidden from others. Now he is The Paranaturalist, an investigator and cohost of a television show that seeks to prove the existence of the paranormal. Some think Joe is crazy, but they don’t realize he knows firsthand there’s more to the world than what most perceive. The trouble is, somewhere along the way, Joe lost his vision and it left his world flat and dull. One night an investigation goes horribly wrong, and a powerful ghostly manifestation sends Joe tumbling into a river. Spirit worker Owen Watson saves Joe’s life, and once they are back on dry land, whatever has been blocking Joe’s vision has been washed away.

When a haunting goes from annoying to dangerous, people turn to Owen Watson. He hates those infuriating hacks from TV, but when he pulls Joe from the river, his mind begins to change. Joe is scared and confused, and, Owen realizes, he might just be the real thing. Together, they work to understand the part of Joe that has been shut away for so long. But just as Joe is acclimating to his abilities, his career as a paranormal investigator is in danger of being ripped away. Owen would gladly battle a bloodthirsty spirit for Joe, but he’s out of his element in the world of reality television.

Captain Xavier Hobbs, a decommissioned combat engineer, was chronically lonely in the Army. But once he is back to being a civilian, with no family and nothing to ground him, he drifts. All he wants is a real home, a real life, and love—but that is easy to wish for and hard to make happen.

When he meets Andrew Landry, a high school English teacher, Xavier thinks he has found everything he has ever wanted, maybe even someone he can trust with his scars–the ones on his mind and body. Andrew’s quick wit and outgoing personality reel Xavier in slowly but surely. But he isn’t certain which way Andrew swings, and doesn’t dare to do more than hope the friendly man is actually flirting.

Then, on what Xavier idly wishes were their first date, disaster strikes in the form of Duncan McNeil, a fellow Wiccan and Andrew’s fiancé. Xavier’s hope is smashed to pieces, but Duncan and Andrew may have a different point of view. All they need is a little magic, some hope, and a lot of love to put everything back together.

Yulian Volkov is an entrepreneur and lone werewolf who hates the city. At a pack meeting, he learns the only member he’s attracted to is being expelled for crimes unspecified. Yulian strikes a deal with the pack leader to allow Rolly Witten to live on his farm and work in his Meadery. Getting Personal

helpingsugarplumrecover

Hello everyone!

I haven’t been reviewing much lately (you may have noticed) because I’ve been dealing with a lot on the home front. My Sugar Plum recently had a hip replacement (he had an impact injury that damaged the artery to his leg). Thankfully, that has gone well, but his surgery has left me solely in charge of our house and children. Meanwhile, I’ve also been trying to keep up my writing goals day to day (sometimes I do, sometimes it’s a big hairy fail), while also editing a manuscript for Dreamspinner Press whenever I get it back. (I’m actually out of my mind excited for The Paranaturalist. I can’t wait to do the cover reveal. I’m probably going to get a peek at the concept art this week. Aaaaaah!)

So, that’s the answer to the mystery of why I’ve been so silent lately, in case anyone cares. However, I did have a short story out last month in Simmer, A Dreamspinner Press Anthology. If You Give an Incubus a Cookie is a fun story, about 30 pages, and I did my best to make it a complete journey even though it’s not very long.

Now that Sugar Plum is getting back onto his feet I’m excited to be writing more again. I’m (optimistically) closing in on the end of Heartache Hustle, and I’m hoping to have it out to beta readers and then off to Dreamspinner Press by the end of April. I’m hoping to start reviewing books again soon as well because I’ve read some really amazing stuff in the last few weeks (Hot Head by Damon Suede, for instance. WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG TO READ THAT?) I hope you’ve all had a great time reading as well!

Happy reading,

Ki
